We welcome Eltronic PJD

Eltronic and PJD both have strong competencies within MES systems, automation and digitalization of production processes. The merger of the two companies will further strengthen these competencies as well as the development of standardized platforms within industry 4.0 for manufacturing companies.

An enhanced focus on automation and MES

- The merger will significantly consolidate our position within automation and MES platforms. We look forward to developing the strong products and solutions from PJD even further under the Eltronic umbrella. Our shared focus is to create the standard platforms which will be in demand in the future within the areas of management and digitalization of processes in the manufacturing industry, says Lars Jensen, CEO in Eltronic A/S.

PJD is merged with Eltronic and will form a new department with the name Eltronic PJD. The new department will, in cooperation with the rest of Eltronic, offer the customers an increased number of competencies and cover a wider range of the industry’s needs.

Eltronic PJD will continue to be based in Aarup and will enter into a close cooperation with the Eltronic headquarters in Hedensted.

A strong foundation for developing industry solutions

The departing CEO of PJD, Kurt Christensen, has had a wish to reduce his number of working hours and level of responsibility over the years ahead, and he has found Eltronic to be the right match:

- I look forward to handing over PJD to Eltronic. The new constellation provides a strong foundation for continuing the development of automation and IT solutions to the industry. Eltronic is a visionary company with its finger on the pulse. I am convinced that both customers and employees will benefit immensely from the merger, says Kurt Christensen from PJD.

Eltronic Group will after the acquisition employ just under 350 engineers and technicians working with development and service of equipment for the wind, marine and manufacturing industries.
