This is our story
Eltronic is a house of knowledge founded in 2000 but together we have several thousand years of experience. Read our story below.
Lars Jensen, the president of Eltronic, founded the company in year 2000. In merely 18 years the company has expanded to approx. 300 competent and dedicated employees. Read our story below.
Eltronic is growing in size
During the first 7 years in Eltronic, we expanded both our activities and facilities at a rapid pace. In 2007, our growing activities lead to yet another expansion of our office and test facilities. In the following year, 2008, we started designing our new head office as a close cooperation between architects and Eltronic employees.
In 2013, Eltronic was again appointed a Gazelle company, which is the Danish daily newspaper Børsen’s annual nomination of companies that are characterized by their rapid growth pace. This was also the year in which Eltronic entered into a partnership with SE Blue Equity to ensure the continued development of the company.
New office facilities and ISO 9001 certified
In the following year, 2015, we opened up offices in Herlev and Esbjerg and received the DS/EN ISO 9001 certification.
2016 was also the year where we decided to streamline our organisation even more by dividing the company into 3 main Business Units. Eltronic is now organised in Production Systems, FuelTech and WindSolutions.
At the end of 2017, we strengthened our position within MES and digitalization of production processes by acquiring the Danish IT and automation company PJD A/S. Only a month later, we acquired the business unit Site Solutions from AH Industries. The business unit was merged with Eltronic Wind Solutions to form a new strong player in the wind industry.
In 2010, we cut the tape for our new head office at Kilde Allé 4 in Hedensted and the company expanded to concentrate on five primary business areas. After further expansion in 2012, we were now housing 200 engineers and technicians distributed across our 5,000 sqm.
New test hall
In 2014 we built a new test hall to accommodate to the ever-increasing demand for custom-made equipment and we set up a number of divisions to uphold a strong position on the company’s core services and products.
Test hall expansion
In 2016 we extended our test hall by 2.500 square meters and added an additional 6.000 square meters of outside testing area. This was to accommodate the increased need for test, storage and assembly of our customers' machines and production systems.
ISO 14001 accreditation
As part of our continuous commitment to running a sustainable business, we obtained an ISO 14001 certification (Environmental Management) in 2017. The ISO 14001 certification provides us with a basis for our active work with sustainability, as we focus on circular economy as an integrated part of our procedures and deliverables.
